RAIL MONKEY

Whether you fish from a promenade, pier, or charter boat, you will at some time have tied a piece of rag or rope around the rail, on which to rest your valuable fishing rod.

There are two good reasons.  You don’t want your rod to fall over.  Neither do you want the glossy finish on your rod to scratch against the rail.

There is now a far simpler solution, the “Rail Monkey”.  The picture illustrates a thousand words.  I use one myself and I really find it an excellent gadget.

The “RailMonkey” is moulded from a soft pliable rubberised plastic compound.  It clips easily to any rail.  A slot in its outer surface safely locates your rod.

It is available in two models.  The “Yellow” RailMonkey is softer and is perfect for all-round use.

The “Red” RailMonkey is of harder composition and fits more snugly on awkward shaped railings, such as those of diamond section found on some Piers and Esplanades.

Either model costs just £5.95 + P&P.
