Whether you fish from a
promenade, pier, or charter boat, you will at some time have tied a piece of
rag or rope around the rail, on which to rest your valuable fishing rod. There are two good reasons. You don’t want your rod to fall over. Neither do you want the glossy finish on your rod to scratch against the rail. There is now a far simpler solution, the “Rail Monkey”. The picture illustrates a thousand words. I use one myself and I really find it an excellent gadget.
